It appears to be another paparazzi obsessed video in which Spears fends off the photags with her super powered microphone (Wonder Woman style), though ironically, as of late the paparazzi really don’t check for her. BeyBey shot the video for her new single “Best Thing I Never Had” last week but her mama “Miss Tina” was at her worst!
According to a source on the set of the video, which was shot in Westchester County on Wednesday and in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, on Thursday Tina Knowles was being a big ole BEYATCH!

According to the insider, the four ass...istants (count ‘em!) the elder Knowles had following her around were calling her “Miss Tina” — “which sounded like a joke.” But it wasn’t: “The crew was told to call her ‘Miss Tina’ if they were to talk to her at all,” our source reveals.

Her real inner prima donna was displayed on Thursday, while the “prom scene” shoot was filmed at the Brooklyn Masonic Temple near the Pratt Institute. Tina, who heads the House of Deréon fashion label with her eldest daughter, “flipped out on the camera guys for making Beyoncé stand near the [video] extras for too long” because there was too much conversation going on between takes. Apparently, Mama T was “worried” the lowly extras would talk to her darling daughter.

But it was the other way around. Beyoncé “was fine with [talking to anyone]. She was making everyone laugh.”

Clad in a purple dress, the 29-year-old singer was talking to the cast and crew about how not being prom queen in the video reminded her of how she never wore the coveted tiara at her own high school dance.

But not everything in this video mirrored reality: Our onset source tells us Beyoncé said it was “weird” not to have her real father, Matthew Knowles, walk her down the aisle in the wedding scene, which took place in a Sleepy Hollow country club on Wednesday. (Beyoncé was escorted down the aisle by her father when she wed Jay-Z in April 2008 in the rapper’s Tribeca apartment.)

As we reported late last week, Beyoncé flew in from Nice, France, where she was rehearsing a show to film the Diane Martel-directed video. It’s no surprise then that rumors flew among cast and crew that Beyoncé’s hubby was in his wife’s trailer last Thursday in Brooklyn, but sources didn’t actually spy the mogul on the set.

The “Miss Tina” business we DEFINITELY believe — we’ve even heard BeyBey herself calling her mama that! But we’re wondering if baby-daddy Matty was banned by Tina, since Bey seemed to have wanted him there for the video. SMH…

Why The Smiths Do Business With Jay-Z: Jada Tells All

Remember when we said the Smiths are linking up with the Carters? We weren’t kidding. Recently, Jada Pinkett-Smith opened up about her plans with husband, Will Smith and new business partner, Jay-Z: forming a film company. Jada talks about why the Smiths decided to work with Jay-Z:

“He’s very professional, he’s a good partner, and we are about to do a movie with him, the ‘Annie’ joint with Willow [Smith], so he’s a good partner.”

The movie “Annie” will not be their first project. Jada Pinkett Smith was also the co-producer of the Broadway play “Fela” along with husband, Will Smith and Jay-Z. And before that, Jay-Z took their daughter Willow Smith, under his wing through the mogul’s recording company: Roc Nation. [Read other business by Jay-Z]
Jada shared her ways in doing business and how to partner up with people.

“You know, we just have great teams and we have great partnership. It’s all about partnering. And that’s the thing that I’ve learned about being in this business.You can’t expect to do great things by yourself that you have to be able to partner up with people.
I think, especially for African Americans to understand that particular component, because we’re always thinking ‘I want to do it myself.’ I’ve learned that in this business and in life, it’s about choosing really fantastic strong partners that can come into the game with you and make things happen with you.”

Sounds like she’s really making things happen. Aside from the movie, the play, Jada and Jay-Z also co-own Carol’s Daughter along with Jimmy Iovine, Tommy Mottola, Steve Stoute and others.
